ABOUT THE CENTER
Center for Corporate Governance is a multidisciplinary research centre at cbs with more than 25 researchers
MANAGEMENT
The center is headed by Prof. Kasper Meisner, Academic Director, and Jette Poulsen, Center Director. The center is furthermore supervised by a supervisory board composed of representatives from participating CBS departments. In addition, the center receives guidance on long-term strategic issues from a business advisory board made up of members from the Danish business community.
STAFF
The Center for Corporate Governance comprises researchers in economics, accounting, finance, law, and management, along with business professionals, auditors, and government officials. We conduct research projects, workshops, conferences, doctoral education programs, and seminars.
BACKGROUND
The Center for Corporate Governance (CCG) was founded on January 1st, 2005, by a grant from Copenhagen Business School. Corporate governance is defined as “the control and direction of companies” by ownership, boards, incentive systems and other mechanisms.
CCG serves as a forum for the advancement of knowledge in the area of corporate governance, fostering collaboration among researchers from various departments and institutions, both within and beyond Copenhagen Business School.
